Do you have a sense of when it's reasonable to take such a stand? Is it just when it directly relates to your members' profession?
Do you include the non-discrimination w/ the hotels and convention center?

When was the conference originally planned for, and when will it now be? Just wondering timeline. Was the move before most people had booked hotel/flights etc? I feel like that would be big factor in decision.
And on your point about training .. how will you work differently with vendors to train them about the ACA issues to help support you?
Was there much backlash or membership loss or loss of those who exhibit as well as those who said they wouldn't come to the meeting bec of the move?
How far out are your meetings booked and what are you doing now for those vis a vis laws that may be passed?
What role do DMOs (CVCs/CVBs) have in advising clients booked far out of upcoming legislation of which they might not be aware?
For Rich - how involved/active was the State Tourism Agency? Not just CVCs .. others? Hospitality and meetings associations?
